Salut !
This is what you can still expect for your French oral exam this year (2026/27) in case you were worried and confused about what to study 😉
The 3 main topics you need to focus on are:
1. Ma Vie Quotidienne (my daily life)
2. Ma Ville / Mon Quartier / Ma Region (my town/my area/my region)
3. L’Avenir (the future)
This doesn’t mean you can forget about everything else, you still need to be able to have a basic conversation and talk about yourself, your family, things you like to do etc…
Just less pressure on expressing yourself about current affairs and abstract topics I guess.
Don’t stress about having an opinion about the pandemic, covid-19 etc…but do know some basic vocab/phrases just in case it comes up in the conversation (get Covid-19 Pandemic vocab list here).
